I'm going to try the wrap on Joe with Lucy to see if there is enough material. I mean I have enough material to do the kangaroo hold but not the basic wrap as seen on the moby wrap. (unless it's really my belly in the way, ha! )

My attempt to wrapy lucy in a baby wrap. I read a blog of someone's and they said to buy 5 yards of material to make one, well either I need to wait till my belly deflates or I need 6 yards. I'm hoping the former. I really don't want to go and buy 6 yards after I bought 5 yards. grrrr. (at least it was in the $1/yard fabric section of wal-mart)

pretty sure it's your belly in the way. i couldn't fit my sling on right when i was pregnant either but it fits fine now. i also bought a moby wrap-which is what you basically made. it's comfortable but honestly kind of a hassle when out in public-and abbey hates it right now. i think it will be better when she's old enough to face out.
