In less than 2 weeks, my guy graduates! I'm super excited for him and I know he is excited too. We originally decided for Joe to complete his MBA in 2 years, and twice he moved his graduation date to earlier dates. He will be completing his MBA from Belmont University in less than a year and a half.
While it was a hard decision to make, we have certainly been blessed. On the drive down from Oregon to TN, Joe was offered the Graduate Assistant position with the business school. This position allowed Joe to focus on his studies, while working with the professors on projects each week and it paid for most of his tuition each semester.
Then we were blessed again to have an Aunt and Uncle allow us to live in the second floor of their home for 9 months for 0 rent! Well, we helped out with grocery money and bought a gallon of milk here and there. We lived there until I was able to find a job and a place to live within our budget.
Now we are waiting on God's timing with a job for Joe. We have family coming in for his graduation ceremony and a dinner the next day. Should be fun! Will post pics later.
Below are some pics of Joe on his Chile trip with some business school graduates.
