More Easter Pics

This year we decorated real Easter Eggs! Ethan loved it. Here are some cute pics....

Just today while in the car at a stop light, I told Ethan that my hand really hurt and that I might have carpal tunnel. He replied,' we don't have coffee tunnels Mommy, just regular tunnels."
 Also while on the road, whenever he sees any car that somewhat looks like a race care (mind you- he thinks his Dad's 2000 Honda Accord is a race car) he shouts, 'you see that cool race car Mommy?' I must reply with a yes and not a mmmhmm, because he'll keep repeating himself. ha!
 He has a habit of biting his fingernails, unfortunately I think he got that from mommy, a habit, I'm always quitting and then my nerves get the best of me. So Leo was on the boppy and I was about to come and nurse him, he was sucking on his hands. Ethan comes over to Leo, 'Leo- don't chew on your fingers?'
 The pictures of Ethan above are from when I was getting baby clothes ready for baby's arrival. we didn't know if we were having a boy. anyway Ethan likes to help me do laundry, every aspect of it. so of course he wanted to help me fold the baby clothes. I thought it was so cute to see him hold up the clothes he wore as a baby and how tiny they were now, so I took a picture, and then every article of clothing after that he wanted me to take a picture of him holding. ha!
 Ethan loves his little brother, Leo. He wants to hold him all the time and buckle him in his carseat or swing. He loves to touch him and kiss him and say, 'that's my little brother.' we were in target yesterday and he was pushing Leo in the stroller and while we were in line to check out, a cashier walked by and looked at Leo. As she was walking off, Ethan was all protective, 'that's my little brother!', he said in a gruff voice. Perhaps he thought the cashier might take his little brother away?
 Lately after I get onto him about something, he always says in a high pitched voice, 'you happy mommy?' I have to tell him that it makes me happy when he obeys Mommy.

Easter We were in Dallas this year for Easter, I was too pregnant to go anywhere. We signed Ethan up for the Arboretum Easter Egg hunt, which I was thoroughly disappointed in for what we paid. It wasn't organized well at all, however, Ethan didn't seem to notice and had fun gathering his 3 eggs. Thankfully another family saw how few he had and gave him some, that made Mommy feel a bit better, ha! It was super cold, and I was freezing, thinking I wouldn't need a jacket. brrr.

Car Show Ethan loves cars and trucks! Ethan and I went to the Dallas Car show with my Dad in March. Please enjoy a few pictures. Trying to update this blog, since the arrival of Leo.
