Just got back from having dinner with one of our neighbors on our street. What's funny is we invited them over for dinner and somehow it ended up that we ate over at their place. which is nice, since I didn't have anything planned and they love cooking.
I love being able to just walk across the street aways and spending some time getting to know your neighbors.
Love your neighbors as yourself.
Can't wait to have them over and also to get to know other neighbors.

BSF started today, also known as Bible Study Fellowship. It's a non-denominational bible study that begins in Sept. and goes through May. This year we are studying the Acts of the Apostles. This is my 4th year in BSF. Last year we studied the book of Isaiah which I really enjoyed.
During lecture we take notes and reviewing my notes, I came across this statement.
There is no limit to what God can do in a life sold out to Him.
Followed by this question: What will you "empty out" to spend more time with Him?
Is my life 'sold out' to Christ? If I answer truthfully, the answer is no. What can I 'empty out' to spend more time with Him? How can I try to live my life sold out to Him?
Praying that I can through the Holy Spirit begin to carve out more time to learn about Christ and further a relationship with Him.

Vacation
Yesterday we booked our place to stay for vacation. We are going in October to Colorado City, CO. Lucy's coming too, because it's pet friendly. The owner of the cottage is a dog lover and has 3 corgi's. So maybe they'll get to play together. The cottage is next door to the owner's place.
Anyway, I know Joe is really looking forward to this vacation. He's been really busy at work and we actually had to move the vacation dates a few times.
I'll definately post pics. Can't wait for some cooler weather.

Mother's Day Out
Yesterday Ethan went to MDO! I waited too long to sign him up and they were full, so Ethan got on a waiting list. Thankfully they had a opening for Mondays. It's probably the longest I've left him somewhere other than with Daddy or Grandparent's. I didn't know what to do with myself. ha! So first I went to work out. It was wierd not bringing Ethan with me to the gym. Then I went to Target. It's so nice to shop without a cranky toddler. (not that he's cranky all the time) Then home for lunch, laundry and some organizing.
His MDO is right around the corner at a neighborhood church so I walked over with the stroller to pick him up. Of course he was busy playing. All happy, then the second he saw me, he turned on the waterworks. ha! He got a daily report sent home. It just said when he had diaper changes, how well he ate, and some notes about his day. He liked playing with the barn toy and elmo and he did not like their craft activity. Painting!
