9 Months and counting....
I'm 9 months old now and I've got 4 teeth, with two more coming in on the top. I can stand all by myself for roughly 10 seconds at a time. I like to walk while holding onto the couch or some other sturdy object. I like legos, thanks Mommy and Daddy. I love to swing at the playground. Not much of a talker, I like to sit and ponder the things around me. I'm a happy guy!

Butternut Squash...
Where have you been all my life? I mean, yeah, I think I may have tasted a soup or two in the past. But recently I've been inspired by my friend Sue and her awesome cooking skillz! She recently made a side dish, Butternut Squash with Shallots and Sage and it looked fairly easy and got rave reviews, so I thought I would find my "inner-Sue" and try to re-create some yummy! It was sooo good! I had some leftover squash that I had chopped but didn't use for the dish, so I made butternut squash soup for the next day, which, was also scrumptious. Here's a link to the post, if you want to try her recipe. Well the recipe was from epicurious, but she made some tweaks and so you'll have to read her blog for those.
Photo Credit: This photo is from Sue's blog, since I didn't take a pic of my side dish.
